Pass a swimming fitness test set by the MIC (two time trials of eight lengths of the dam in under 60 minutes).
You are prepared to train and keep a training logbook.
Finish the Midmar Mile event within the official cut-off time (i.e. 1 hour).
It is possible to receive an Aquelle Midmar Mile Award and not be granted the Treverton Midmar Mile Award.
This depends upon the successful completion of training.
Treverton pool is 25m (square)
Treverton dam is 210m end to end
A mile is approximately 1600m
